MEANING OF ISLAM, IMAN DAN IHSAN IN CCUB 1061

ISLAM, IMAN AND IHSAN

Assalamualaikum and hi everyone! I Hope everyone is doing fine and  stay safe during this pandemic. In this class of Usrah 1 with sister Karmila discuss about the interesting topic that I love namely Islam, Iman and Ihsan. 

Alright then, no need to linger any longer we just continue to what I got about Islam, Iman and Ihsan. Let's straight forward! 

ISLAM, IMAN DAN IHSAN.

ISLAM ¬ A Muslim must be declared that there is no God but Allah SWT and Muhammad SAW is the messenger of Allah. By declaring this a person accepts the message of Allah Almighty that is revealed to humanity through the last prophet Muhammad SAW. After accepting Islam it is obligatory on Muslim to observe all other Islamic obligations like five daily prayers, zakat, fasting in Ramadhan, make a pilgrimage (Hajj) of the house of Allah if she/he is capable of doing this physically and also financially.

IMAN ¬ is basically to believe in Allah, His Angels, His Books, His Messengers and the scriptures which He sent down before. A person reaching Iman believes that not only Allah exists but He is capable of doing anything He wants to do. A Mu'min believers in everything Allah Almighty told in the Holy Quran. The belief in the Last Day which is the Judgment Day is an acknowledgment of accountability and estimation.

IHSAN ¬ The highest status of religion Islam. It is definition that our beloved Prophet Muhammad SAW described is : "To worship Allah as if you see Him, He sees you." A Muslim is a responsible person where he does things in good manner. We can say that Ihsan means a Muhsin is sure that Allah is seeing him/her in everything he/she says or does in his life. 

Okay, now I want to share with you guys about Ihsan that I have apply in my life.

1) I will forgive others before go to bed. In Surah Al-Imran verse 134, Allah says :

الَّذِينَ يُنفِقُونَ فِي السَّرَّاءِ وَالضَّرَّاءِ وَالْكَاظِمِينَ الْغَيْظَ وَالْعَافِينَ عَنِ النَّاسِ ۗ وَاللَّهُ يُحِبُّ الْمُحْسِنِينَ

"Who spend [in the cause of Allah] during ease and hardship and who restrain anger and pardon the people- and Allah loves the doers of good".

2) Ihsan with animals. My family and I have kept 2 cats. So, we have to be responsible with their needs like feeding, giving medicine when they are sick and always caring about them. We cannot ignore pets even they do not have a 'aql like humans but most importantly animals are also creatures created by God.
